Nancy Rennie, B.E.S., P. Geo.,
Senior Hydrogeologist
Nancy Rennie has 23 years of experience as an environmental consultant
managing various hydrogeologic studies. Her experience includes comprehensive
landfill site investigations, including leachate and landfill gas control,
groundwater and surface water characterization and monitoring. Her work
has included the investigation, assessment and evaluation of groundwater,
surface water and sediment contamination from landfills and industrial
sources. She has completed evaluations of landfill siting options and
managed comprehensive hydrogeological studies which have resulted in
the approval of new landfills and landfill expansions.
Other recent studies include the impact of land development on grpundwater
and surface water resources, water budget analysis and compliance with
the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan (ORMCP), and aquifer depressurization
projects for sewer main construction and for landfill cell excavations.
She has also completed studies of the hydrogeologic impacts of sand
and gravel extractions and cemetery expansions.
Nancy is the project coordinator and senior hydrogeologist for most
of the company's landfill assessments and compliance monitoriing programs.
She is currently involved with a number of land development assessments,
water supply studies and groundwater interference assessments.
